Why Give?

Girls today are growing up on social media platforms that were never designed with their wellbeing in mind.

Yet girl-centered and mental health organizations — the ones girls need most — remain two of the least funded causes in our country.

Join us as we expand our reach and deepen our impact. Your support makes it possible to continue to bring free, girl-centered mental wellness programming to more communities and teens across the country.

Your Gift In Action

  • Your contribution covers the cost of five Mentor Guidebooks which equip teen mentors to lead Her Story's Social Media Wellness Workshop #ForMe — a space where girls develop real tools to engage with social media more safely and intentionally.

  • Your donation sends one teen and her guardian to our Girls In Motion Day of Impact. Girls and guardians will have access to curated panels and activations led by influential women who share how they protect their peace, online and off.

  • Her Story’s Social Media Wellness Workshop, #ForMe, starts here. Your gift covers the cost of our Mentor Training which prepares up to 25 mentors to lead girls through one of our most powerful programs — building the skills and confidence to guide their peers toward protecting their peace online and off.

  • With your donation, 25 girls receive their own #ForMe Teen Workbook — a personal guide through our Social Media Wellness Workshop where they examine their digital habits and learn how to protect their peace online.

  • Your contribution makes the Social Media Wellness Workshop possible for 15 girls — fully funding mentor training, workbooks, and all materials. Girls walk away with real tools to engage with social media more safely and intentionally, and a deeper understanding of how their digital lives are shaping their mental health
